Guitar Lessons Agreement
Please find below a few rules that will help both of us have a very fruitful collaboration.
1.
There are three types of guitar lessons; 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and 60minutes.
Each student chooses the type of lesson they are going to follow depending on their personal goals. All students are kindly asked to arrive on time and notified about their arrival, other lessons are booked before and after.
2.
The full amount of the payment for the month’s lessons (4 in total) is deposited on the last day of every month. For example the payment for October is deposited on the 30th of September etc.
3.
If in a month there are 5 lessons due to the calendar the 5th lesson will be included in the total amount on the last day of every calendar Month.
Even in a month with five weeks, the 5th lesson is included in the discounted price.
4.
If for some important reason, a lesson has to be postponed or changed the student will have to notify at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson via text, email or WhatsApp. If the student fails to notify in this timeframe the lesson is lost no refunds can be made under any circumstances.
5.
If the teacher has to change the lesson due to recording, performing or any other obligations the student will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and new slots will be offered as options. On the very rare occasion that this isn’t carried through the teacher will offer FREE time to the student.
6.
The teaching year is from the beginning to the end of the year.
If any changes are made to this clause the student will be notified, for example, holiday or any travel.
7.
The student agrees with the teacher on a fixed day of the week for the lesson to take place. This ensures that the student gets sufficient practice between the scheduled weekly lessons.
8.
Once students commit to lessons, I kindly ask that they avoid frequent cancellations or slot changes.
Consistent attendance and practice are crucial for achieving musical goals.
9.
If for whatever reason a student decides to stop taking lessons they are kindly advised to notify the tutor a month in advance.
10.
For achieving goals all students are asked to attend the lessons prepared having practiced the materials covered in the lessons.
The better the preparation the better the results.
